In 2023, the event “Cooperative Compliance Program: A new form of relationship between Taxpayers and Tax Administrations” was launched, where SUNAT presented cooperative compliance as one of the main pillars of the institutional strategy to promote greater tax compliance through transparency, mutual trust, and an appropriate tax risks assessment.
The event was attended by CIAT, the IDB, the OECD, the Vienna University of Economics and Business and about 20 tax administrations from the Americas and Europe, who spoke about the advantages and benefits of the cooperative model and shared their experiences, among other relevant aspects.
